After much last-minute-shopping yesterday and today, I FINALLY GOT MY 2ND TOP AND NEW PAIR OF SHOES! :)

The pair of shoes were especially troublesome, looked almost everywhere for it. Either the size ain't right, or it's not my taste(meaning, no RED!), or some idiot has already reserved it. Unlucky indeed..

..until i found this ADIDAS BLACK/WHITE/RED SHOES:

Cute eh? Black and white and red color combination. And i love the cute lil' sketches on it. By the way, i had my career interview(CCOM subject) yesterday and my only area to improve on is WEAR NOT-A-BLACK SHIRT. Scored 17.5/20 marks, credits to my well-staged act of "very positive attitude". YAY!~

Earned myself an injury on my right arm while playing badminton. Shikai(spelling?) accidentally hit my arm while we're playing doubles. Result of a poor teamwork = "injured victim" + "guilty partner". I'm the former role. LOOK!

Cool eh?! It doesn't hurt as much now but it's swelling like mad. I can't sleep lying on my right side now..! NooOOoo!

It's February.

First thing on my mind - CHINESE NEW YEAR! Red packets, yay!~ But more importantly, i get to have fun and REST during this period. School has never been so stressful before. Can't seem to get rid of my projects no matter how much i do.

WHATEVER! TIME TO RELAX!

And there's plenty of movies to catch. I wanna watch "L - Change the World", "CJ7" and "Kungfu Dunk"! I hope CJ7 won't turn out to be disappointing, not expecting much but it's stephen chow!

And to a certain someone, jay chou's roles are always the "good guy with the girl he liked" in the end? Let's check -

"Initial D", nope. "Curse of the Golden Flower", nope. "Secret", sorta yes. What else? Please get the facts right(i don't even have to TRY and protest). And cheers to the talentless jay chou. He only mastered countless musical instruments, became a singer, composer, lyricist, actor, movie director and ran his own company. Not to mention he robbed numerous recognised awards from his music and movie careers. Nah, not talented at all. I mean, he DON'T even have the looks, it's just luck eh? Oh, and what LOW EQ he has to be able to hold concerts worldwide with full seating.

After 24 weeks of "恶女阿楚"'s addiction, it finally came to an end today! Expectedly, it's a HAPPY ENDING!~ Totally awesome, i love every single character in the series(especially the 4 main ones)! And the opening and ending songs were great too! Kinda sad that this show has come to an end.. Any sequels? Doubt so, urgh!!

8am to 10pm of school isn't fun at all! 3 projects in about 3 weeks. I need more TIME! There's insanely too much of work to be done!

Hate my projects..... all about DEADLINES!!!

p.s. i've got a sudden passion for RED!

Okay, i passed my driving test finally! Bloody 18 points! Honestly, i thought i screwed up badly.. Striked kerb and rollbacked on slope 3 times - how am i gonna pass? Yes, i was shocked too, it doesn't make sense but I DON'T CARE. YES, NO MORE UBI VISITINGS!

Failed my NAPFA! I passed all 5 stations but failed 2.4km run(which obviously needs training work to be done). Damn! This is the end result for no running for 3 years. Oh wells, it was a miracle that i could pass 5 stations already, and even got an A for shuttle run! I'm still thinking if i should retake.. too busy these days to find time to practise on 2.4km run. Hmmmmmmm.

Malaysia-ed yesterday! Supposedly went for new clothes shopping, ended up bought one jacket only. Anyways, the HK cafe there is NOTHING like singapore's, which apparently sells canned food and drinks. The food there has got some standard and the pricing's about the same! Tiring trip. I'm having muscle aches all over now, and i'm super-exhausted!

Time to go Monster-Hunter-ing, addicted. PSP rocks!

Appointment at Alexandra Hospital today, 9am.

Not wanting to be late, i left my bloody house at 7.30am. AND I REACHED AT 11AM! What the hell! 3.5 hours distance from Pasir Ris to Queenstown! I was so freakin' frustrated by SMRT today. There wasn't any train service between Tenah Merah and Pasir Ris, and NO ONE KNOWS. I took a bus to pasir ris control station, only to be redirected to a free shuttle bus to tenah merah.

I could've just taken Bus 12...........

And there was this stupid jam, the shuttle bus had to visit Tampines and Simei first. I swear i'm not the only one pissed this morning.

When i reached the clinic, i showed the receptionist my letter to the doctor. She looked at the time stated on the letter and asked me, "Do you have any idea what time it is? Book another day the doctor left already!"

How POLITE! Have you watched the news today? Do you think i enjoy being late when i left my house 30 minutes in advance? *heart attack!*

Fortunately a nurse came by and clarified that the doctor will be back soon, or else i'm wasting a trip here. After the checkup, which took about 2~3 hours, i was not informed of the results at all. They're probably gonna mail the results to me, i guess.

Yeah, what an idiotic day.

And so, i finally had my NS medical checkup. It was so flipping troublesome! Had to travel all the way to Queenstown/Red Hill and change bus. Why isn't CMPB located somewhere like city hall or something? Benefits everyone!

Anyway, the total checkup took about 4~5 hours. There're several stations to go to, like check your eyesight, hearing, teeth, blood pressure, height and weight, blood.. AND MANY MORE. There's even this IQ test(which is the LONGEST OF ALL) that consists of a trillion questions.. i was yawning the whole time, thinking,

"when is this gonna end? when is this gonna end? when is this gonna end..?"

Okay, and so, i received ~~PES A~~ PES D. Which means the results is pending/unconfirmed status. This is due to one bloody doctor who claimed he heard a funny sound in my heart. Funny sound in my heart, yes. Did he hear a burp? Or techno music? Or did someone had a conversation with him? I've no idea what he meant by funny but it ain't funny to me. I was referred to Alexandra Hospital to do a more thorough checkup on monday(before getting my PES result).

URGH! WASTE MY TIME MAN!

Went PSP-SLIM-HUNTING at sim lim square. And it wasn't a pleasant experience. There's countless treacherous scammers(mostly in the human form of ah bengs and uncles) awaiting for victims to be preyed on their traps(products).

THINGS TO NOTE:
if you're buying a PSP, please read!

1. PARALLEL IMPORTS
Ask and check if it's a parallel import(meaning from Japan). If it is, don't buy. It should come from china instead, as latest productions are in china. The first batch of PSPs are from jap. Forget the thinking that "Made In Japan" are better than china's. They're all from Sony, for goodness' sake.

2. LCD SCREEN CHECK
Check for any dead pixel or dust in the PSP. To check for dead pixel, change the colors of the screen(mainly red, blue and green) and look carefully. You just have to be really cautious for LCD screen check since warranty does not include LCD screen, even for Sony's.

3. SCRATCHES
Needless to say, it should be totally brand new and no scratches should be detectable.

4. REFURBISHED SET
ASK. If it is a refurbished set, show the scammer your 3rd and 8th fingers. Refurbished sets are old PSPs being "re-made" and it's definitely not a first-hand product, no matter how flawless it looks.

5. STANDARD PACKAGE
Check if it's a standard package. It should come with: charger, battery, manual, warranty and the original PSP box. If the scammer takes the PSP out of some other shit other than the box, it's definitely screwed. Take note to check that all parts are from Sony and not from any other 3rd parties.

6. CUSTOMIZABLE FIRMWARE
Check its version and see if it's the latest. Take time to ask in details if you're able to download games into the PSP. Unless you want an un-modded PSP and happily spending your assets on expensive games.

7. PRICE OF MARKET
The current price for a standard package and MODDED PSP is SGD$280.00. Memory stick will not be included. If it's something insanely cheap, like $190 which i've heard, there's unquestionably a catch to it.

THE BOTTOM LINE
Buy cheap PSPs at your own risk. Even if you do all the checks listed above, i can't guarantee it's not a scam. Warranties from PSPs are shop warranties, not Sony's(since the set is modded). So the shop/store could easily scam as many PSPs as possible and had the store wind up, voiding the warranty. And then scammers can easily register a company under a different name at sim lim square.

Just think, if PSPs(or any other electronic products) are really that cheap, why wouldnt other stores sell at that price? =]

It's simply a pure white screen now.

Phone officially died last night. It's been fighting its disease of unable to speak and displaying poor distorted random lines. Any new phone recommendations? Preferably Nokia or Sony Ericsson. I'm more used to these two models anyway.

In any case, i won't be contact-able by a mobile phone until i get a temporary/new phone. Urgh!

Dad's back from hospital yesterday! He's on the road to recovery. Apparently ALCOHOL increases the chance of getting gout by a whopping 48%! And now he gotta cut down on food which are high in purines(mainly protein foods).

This question left me all confused.. and get me really thinking. Here goes:

A race is arranged between Asafa Powell (currently the 100m world record holder) and a tortoise named Zeno.
Since Powell can run much faster than the tortoise, Zeno is given a substantial head start.
The judge fires the starting pistol and both contestants are off.
Now, the first thing Powell has to do is to get to the place from which Zeno started.
However, the tortoise, while slow, is unflagging: While Powell was busy making up his handicap, Zeno advanced a bit further.

Badminton-ed yesterday, tennis-ed today.

Man, they are sooo different! I've not touched a badminton racquet for ages, and i realised badminton is.... pretty FUN! Compared to tennis, which requires more control and practice, i can see why badminton is a more preferred sport. I'm not saying it's EASY, but it's EASIER. And i feel that i had exercised more(compared to tennis)! But definitely, the sense of accomplishement for hitting a ball perfectly is much greater than hitting that shuttlecock. PROS and CONS.

Received from a source that my MP/SIP group had been graded an almighty-A! Wanna confirm it though, if not.. happy for NOTHING? It really affects my GPA a lot(weightage's 20 CUs?). There'll be Open House and Engineering Project Show from 10th to 12th. School's gonna be packed. Geez!

My mobile phone's terminal illness had progressed significantly. Not only i had to use LOUDSPEAKER while on conversation, the screen went pattern-y with random colors occasionally. Any phone recommendations? Looking for something simple and durable, and it doesn't have to be a recent phone.

My dad's having leg problems. Hopefully he will recover soon. Must've been tough on him to work night shifts for eight years now. He's amazing, i'm thankful for that.

Gotta get to bed, been exhausted these days.

Came across something really interesting. Don't get conned. The more you wanna gain, the more you lose. Read this:

One of my favorite classroom tricks is to auction off a $20 bill. I explain in advance that the $20 goes to the top bidder, but the top two bidders have to pay whtatever they bid. That way, if at least two students bid at least $10, I come out ahead.

In fact, it's far better than that. As soon as two students are rash enough to enter the bidding, I'm almost guaranteed an astronomical profit. Once Mickey bids a nickel and Minnie bids a dime, both are trapped: There's never a right time to drop out of the auction. If Mickey quits now, he loses his nickel, but by staying in he can quite reasonably bid a quarter for a $20 bill. Minnie, of course, raises her bid to half a dollar. After a few rounds, Mickey has bid $9 and Minnie goes to $10. Mickey can't quit without throwing away $9; instead he takes the far more sensible route of bidding $11 to get $20. Now my profit is in the bag.

But that's only the beginning. After a few more rounds, Minnie bids $18 and Mickey bids $19. Now Minnie can either bid $20 to get $20 or drop out and pay $18 for nothing; she bids $20. At this point, poor Mickey can either bid $21 to get $20 (accepting a $1 loss) or drop out and pay $19 for nothing; he opts for the lesser of two evils and bids $21. IT'S 2-0-0-8!!!

Spent the last day of 07 at cineleisure! There was this winter season competition for DotA. The crowd was pretty SICK - had to queue up just to take a lift! But the matches were super entertaining though. Team Zenith won like all the matches expectedly, geez! Everyone loved how Tiny tortured Tormented Soul. It was a classic moment. LOVELY!~

Before the countdown started, we quickly grabbed snacks and bought vodka to yipeng's place. Kinda happening..! We even caught X-MEN3(and lots of usual craps)! Ended up at home around 4AM.. before getting up for a bit of teamwork practice session! Hopefully we get the hang of -ap games soon!

Came back from NSRCC's chalet a while ago, it's FREE! Had typical stuffs for chalet - food, drinks, tv, board games. If all of us don't have school tomorrow, it's gonna be FUN! There's tennis court, basketball court.. EVERYTHING. Getting there isn't really convenient, but it's a awesome chalet! Pray to get this chalet for the holidays after graduation! :)

counting the days
While scanning through my 07' posts, i came across my year's resolutions(see 4th jan's post) Here's what they were:

1.) Pass TP test on first try (failed)
Alrights, i failed my TP test even on my 2nd attempt. This really impacted me, negatively. Urgh! Though i wouldn't be able to possess a car and drive even if i have my driving license, i want to get this shyt over with. We'll see.

2.) Sleep as much as possible
Yup! I had LOTS of sleeping time this year. My original intention was bearing the hope of lightening my dark circles, somehow it ain't working. Maybe that's just how it is. SLEEPING RULES!

3.) Enjoy LIFE! (failed)
YUCKS. Due to MP/SIP this year, i wouldn't really say i had enjoyed my life to the fullest. That period of time i've been stucked with a computer for about 8 hours everyday.. that's completely NO LIFE at all. I am glad i took up tennis this year though, it's been providing me with lots of enjoyable and fun times.

4.) Pull up my GPA (?)
It's unknown yet, depending on how i fare for my MP/SIP. Sadly, my project group was not included in the Engineering Project Show. Damn it.

5.) Withdraw mahjong addiction
YES! I've withdrawn mahjong addiction. Though not 100% totally, in my current status i'm only playing it occasionally. I guess Lady Luck left me for a good cause. =)

Meaning i'll lose once i play. =(

6.) Survive to '08 (?)
If i don't die tomorrow, I PASSED THIS ONE! HAHA!

Recently, i've been watching following movies/tv series:

There's just too many shows on EARTH to watch! And i didn't mention the animes Naruto, Bleach, D Gray Man and Get Backers. And 恶女阿楚 is still an ongoing series! There's gonna be so many more brilliant shows next year! One of them is SAW V! OMG!

"Shows Releasing Rate" > "Watching Rate".

I'll never be able to watch all of them! Geez. Speaking of shows, best show i've watched this year's definitely "Ichi Rittoru No Namida", (1 Litre Of Tears). It's too awesome.. it's.. too ultimate already. I changed my mind. It's the best show i've watched THUS FAR(since 10 march 1988)!!

Ho-ho-ho!

Alrighty, it's 2.18 AM in the morning and i'm still awake.. and miraculously, i decided to blog! Appreciate this..!

It's finally the time of the year! Christmas! It's definitely the most joyous festive! The light decorations everywhere really lifted my spirits every time. To be honest, i wanna enjoy this break to the fullest, because when school reopens, my term would be REALLY REALLY BUSY. And it's gonna drive me insane. My last holidays afterall, urgh!

Recently bought a Rubik's Cube! It's just the plain-old original 3x3, nothing fanciful. BUT I'M ADDICTED TO IT! I've learnt how to solve it(thanks to a particular VERY HELPFUL youtube vid).. and i believe anyone can. The steps are pretty simple, though require lots of practice. The satisfaction of able to solve the cube cannot be put into words. Just solve it and you'll understand what i mean. CAN YOU SOLVE IT? HUH!? NOOB.

Sorry sorry, i wasn't me. Oops. Allow me to continue.

Genie(zwx) was here in Singapore on saturday! URGH. I regretted making the decision of not seeing her. NOOO! Shyts! I'm so dumb. What was i thinking?! When is she coming back? Hmmmmmmmm....

Watched "The Warlords"(投名状) yesterday. It's a great show! Lots of action scenes and content. Somewhat related to one of my questions i posed earlier(Is it wrong to do anything to win?). The One Test
It's been a darn long day. Did some last minute dumping of information into my head this afternoon at the library. I was trying to store as much information as i can.. but somehow earlier info gets deleted away when newer ones enter.

Apparently, the test was OKAY! Most probably i'll get just a pass, although i was hoping for an A. Right after the test, all of us started our own "Disk Cleanup" - deletion of the useless information in our heads. Sweet, it feels like feather!

It's been raining for one wednesday now. And i truly enjoyed the cold weather and cool breeze.. nope, i'm not being sarcastic at all. It's really pleasant. Thank god i didn't tennis today! Speaking of which, i had the most dreadful tennis experience on monday. The sun was totally merciless. End up all of us couldn't take it anymore, urgh. Frustrated! Spoiled all the fun.

I doubt i'll be swinging my tennis racquet anytime this week. I've got one term test to study, and hopefully i want 100% concentration to score well for this one(study like there's no tomorrow during the weekends). If i remember correctly, its weightage is 25%! Last semester already, trying desperately to pull my GPA up. It's kinda late but it's beats doing nothing.. erm, right?

Recently, i came upon this new anime, "Get Backers". It's got a pretty interesting plot, and the best part is: IT'S ALREADY FULLY RELEASED. Let's see how fast i can finish this old anime. =)

December is here! Every time december is spoken of, something comes to everyone's mind..... YUP! CHRISTMAS! The most joyous and lively festive in the whole year! 2007's gonna end soon, can't remember doing much though. Urgh!

It's been a fruitful week. Cleared viva reports, 2 lab tests and final major project judging. PHEW! Finally able to take a breather this weekend(although i've been sleeping at 3am due to playing DotA). Last week of the term, then term test, then term break! And.. X'MAS! Sweet. Oh, i've been skipping a lot too! 10~15 minutes is all it takes to exercise everyday. Feels good!

Just caught "30 Days Of Night". It's a vampire-movie! It's not bad to me. Lots of thrilling parts and action scenes. It's about this town experiencing the movie title - 30 DAYS OF NIGHT! There's not daytime at all. At least not for 30 days. And the vamps took this golden opportunity to strike. It's not like other vampires show where they keep converting human victims to vamps, they basically kill and try not to turn any instead. The ending was a bit quick though.. oh wells. Thumbs up anyway! :)

Cheena Conman at Queensway

A few days back, when i was at queensway shopping centre, there's a few china conman selling some cheap "magical toys". The toys was made believe to be able to follow the demonstrator's commands and instructions, such as "sleep", "dance", "stop" and so on. He claimed no battery is needed. And right beside the toy, there's a guy sitting there reading his newspaper.

THE TRICK REVEALED:
There's an invisible solid fishing line connected the the toy, and that the shameless newspaper guy is holding it underneath his bloody newspaper!!

A few witty adults were able to see through the trick right away, but most people bought it for their kids'(who were soo AMAZED by the so-called "magic") sake. Each toy costs 5 bucks, and the toy is just a cheap furry body with maybe 2 ragged legs hanging out. It's so frustrating to watch.. Is this even legal in singapore?

Viva Report

Had to go to school yesterday to complete my viva report(chapter 3 and 5). Managed to complete them on time, and it's really exhausting.. much worse than playing tennis. Just the idea of staring at the computer screen and type and type and type is flippin' dumb. There will be 2 more lab tests this week.

URGH. I can't wait for term break!

Wedding Anniversary

Today's my parents' 25th wedding anniversary! We celebrated.. YUMMI-LY! The oreo ice-cream cake was totally scrumptious! Twenty five years huh, what a LONG LONG time.

Anyways, it's 28th november! Erika's new single is OUT! Should i buy it? Should i buy it? Should i buy it? But I WANT!!!

And and! I've been influenced by my sister to SKIP! Yes! She borrowed a skipping rope and started skipping. It's pretty exhausting just by 10~15 minutes of skipping. Maybe this isn't a bad exercise to do at all! (:

First off..

WOW. What's the problem with the sun today? Trying too hard to draw attention? It's all raging hot and the air's stuffy! Let me have a good weekend please.. don't spoil it.

Yesterday's weather was hot too, played tennis again, and more than 4 hours straight. Received quite a bit of sunburn for my face. But it's worth it, tennis is a really good sport. =)

"Enchanted". Urgh, i'm not really sure. In my opinion this is really overrated. Okay, it's full of humor and the songs were catchy and fairytale-ideas were great, but a lot of things are already expected. Like how Giselle will fall in love with the lawyer, like how she will eat that poison apple, like how the lawyer's kiss will wake her up, like how the evil queen will die in the end.. there ain't a single damn twist. And watching movie 2nd row from the front ain't a pleasant thing for my neck.

It's saturday 3:33 PM now, and my right shoulder is aching - side effect of tennis? Can't wait to swing again. And shyts, i left my wallet on pris' car AGAIN. Lucky i wasn't taking a cab or anything.. if not, GOOD GAME.

Gotta rush my school work now, really don't feel like touching it. I mean, IT'S WEEKEND! But i really don't have a choice, do i?

I thought i should probably make a post about something that i spent A LOT of my time doing.. DOTA! Look at the number of dota games i've played since 26th september 07.. 402! It's really sick, and i didn't even noticed now. All the matches includes mainly 1v1 and 5v5 games. I don't wanna think about the amount of time spent, i'll faint.. really.

And proudly, i'm glad to say there are 910 banned players, for being a leaver OR/AND a maphacker AND a pussy. Bloody noobs just loves to spoil my games, you pathetic bastards. Apologies for the language used, the thought of it makes my blood boil.. with vengeance.

Alrighty, gonna sleep early now, school workload is increasing at an exponential rate. My weekends will be spend doing viva major project report chapters 3 and 5, good luck to me. URGH! Catching "Enchanted" tomorrow, hopefully it's not a lame show.

I love the weather now, the pre-storm weather - windy, cooling, and sky's darkening. And it's really quiet here. The feeling's great. My parents went malaysia with my relatives, so i've got to take care of my own meals now. Urgh, how troublesome.. prepared my own ham and egg sandwich for breakfast, and chicken cutlet rice for lunch. Now i understand how NOT FUN it is to prepare meals. What a drag.

Anyways, i had 2 quizzes yesterday that i didn't even know about.. and apparently most people in my class too. Exactly 50% of the class failed(i barely passed), even though it's just MCQ questions. Shows how much we don't understand about that subject, we really don't.

Been playing tennis a lot lately, i love improving! Especially ground strokes(training single backhand). I wanna play MORE! It's been raining and raining and raining these days. Playing on wet court isn't cool at all - experienced that yesterday. By the way, cheers to Federer for thrashing Nadal and Ferrer! ACES ROCK.

p.s. i'm watching "1 litre of tears" for the third time, still as touching as the first, can't believe it. best drama ever, definitely.

Today is wednesday.

And wednesday means no school.. but, why the crap do i have to go to school for? The thought of it is horrifying, to complete assignments due tomorrow. Absolutely disgusting. School school school.. what a drag.

I had my spectacles sent for lens replacement, it was beyond the state for saving already. So helplessly, i had to go home with my vision impaired. Can't see no shit, can't see no shit, can't see no shit. How am i gonna spend my day in school tomorrow? Nope, contact lenses' out of stock. Darn. (and amazingly i still managed to blog without typos.. i think.)

The weather nowadays are great! Rain rain rain! =) It better stop temporary for this saturday though, looking forward to ESCAPE! It's been such a long long time.

Quick post again!

Steamboat for dinner at home yesterday! It's not so much of a delicacy but, i love the feeling of eating and eating, UNLIMITED! Maybe exception for that crab sticks, happened to have only 5 left. Darnn.. it's like my favourite! Yeah, i'm a glutton at times.

Caught an impromptu midnight movie yesterday, "Stardust". Compared to "The Game Plan", i'm more in favor of this one. Probably there were much more actions scenes? This show is NOTHING like "Narnia" in my opinion, "Narnia" sucks big time! More than two hours long of adventures and excitement. And the actress who played Yvaine's really beautiful too! Neat.

I should treat myself better by giving me more sleep - been sleeping really late these few days. Poor body. Urgh. I'm starving now, shyts. DotA time..?

Quick post.

My sore throat worsened together with fever and cough on thursday night. But miraculously, i recovered on friday morning. I've no idea why too, my bet is this remedy: LOTS of watermelon, LOTS of water(and honey water) and LOTS of sleep. I had 10 hours of sleep that day, and really felt much better.. without the aid of any medications!

Caught "The Game Plan" last night, by The Rock! Though it's a LONG movie, it's quite inspirational at some parts. Maybe i was just too tired at that point of time to concentrate. It's a great disney movie anyways, but i'd strongly prefer action movies. My poor "SAW IV" is R21, oh man... *sigh*

Addicted to this song, "Destination Nowhere". Haven't been sick of it, and i've been listening all morning already. Her vocals really improved(but it's not AMAZING yet) since her first single, but it's still impressive. 28th November, the release of her 3rd single.. should i?

It's been an exhausting week - even though it's just two days. Forced to do assignments and formal viva presentation. Pretty crappy, but i'm relieved that most work's done already. Caught another movie last night, Tegami, needless to say, she's in it. This show bores me for the first half, and i can't say much. It's about the situation(discrimination against criminals' relatives) in Japan, from what i know. However much i wanted to be biased, i can't say i enjoy this movie, sadly. Feeling sickly right now, i think i had too much fried food or something, darn! :(

Finally, jay's 8th album reached singapore 2 days ago. And i'm looking forward to his new upcoming concert in singapore, BUT! Unbelievably, the tickets' sold out. And it's on the first day, heard it's even before the concert's publicity. Completely exaggerating man. Urgh! I've listened to the album at least 10 times now, ALL 10 tracks were composed by him. Overall, i truly feel the album's worth listening and buying.

01. 牛仔很忙 The Cowboy On The Run
Fast, catchy song, new style(western country) that jay have not tried before. It's a short 2 mins plus light-hearted song. It's not bad but unfortunately, not my cup of tea - i feel he needs more rap and pop/rock. 6/10.

02. 彩虹 Rainbow
A slow song that was released next to 牛仔很忙. Simple and soothing melody. And his unique style of singing the bridge(which is implemented into few of his other slow songs) is cool. Chorus' from Secret's OST, First Kiss. Thumbs up! 8.5/10.

03. 青花瓷 Blue and White
The only "中國風"(Chinese Wind) track in this album. Reminds me of 東風破 actually, really has a nice feel to the song. Brilliant. 8.5/10.

04. 陽光宅男 Sunshine Homeboy
Pop/rock song, but once again, it sounds really different from his previous songs. It has a very catchy beat, i liked the rap part better than the chorus. Not really his style, thus not really my type. Unfortunately. Feel the song's more suitable for bands. 7/10.

05. 蒲公英的約定 Dandelion's Promise
A slow sad song, implemented two tracks' melodies from Secret OST. First, the chorus' from the sorrow soundtrack, 小雨写立可白Ⅰ. It also has a short piano-melody from 路小雨's bridge, which is the part that i really really really love. Great song, great music. 9/10.

06. 無雙 Unparalleled
Another fast rap-song talking about war. The chorus part is very similar to his other songs, i don't sense anything new here. The lyrics from Vincent Fang is as insane as ever. 6.5/10.

07. 我不配 I'm Not Worthy
One of my favourite! Slow and nice R&B feel, and the chorus pretty catchy. And the rhythmic beats makes this song even better. Superb song, gotta be another hit soon. I don't know how else to describe, it's simple yet unique. 9.5/10.

08. 扯 Pull/Ripping
Another fast song, i feel it's better than 無雙, mainly because of its beats and rap. The introduction of this track starts with a conversation, similar to 鬥牛 and 飄移. Not too bad at all. 7/10.

09. 甜甜的 Sweet
This song's really cute and sweet(just like the track title suggests), resembles 晴天娃娃 from Secret OST to me. Catchy melody and nice drum beat, makes really great combination. SWEET! 8/10.

10. 最長的電影 The Longest Movie
Another of my favourite song! Really slow, sad, and has an emotional chorus. Starts with soft piano-playing and singing followed by powerful chorus. I just can't get enough of this song no matter how many times i loop my Windows Media Player. Wished it was longer though. 9.5/10.

Verdict:
8/10.

All of his ballads were awesome as expected, but i feel he needs to improve on his fast(rap) songs. I can see quite a number of people are listening to his new songs right now(MSN), but please, flippin' go get the original album! It's worth buying albums once a good one appears. And here it is.

I pre-ordered mine, and i think it's awesome. Comes with free DVD(牛仔很忙 and 我不配's MV), calender and poster. Now, back to his concert..

Caught "Halloween" yesterday. It's another gruesome show about this child Michael Myers, who's somewhat a psychopath. The whole movie is about killings, killings and more killings. He kills EVERYONE - good or bad. The psychopath is portrayed with a mask almost all the time and hardly speaks at all. Since young, he has tortured(and killed) small animals, which eventually proceeded to target his family members as victims. He shows no remorse or guilt at all, it's really sick. And yes.. there'll be.. blood. Rating vary.

Went for blood donation at tampines-cc this morning, inspired by my brother. It's a really good experience, and it doesn't hurt at all. I'd have to keep drinkin LOTS of water for today though, man. My blood type will be revealed three weeks from now.. Hmmmm.

Gotta go take a nap now, feeling pretty drowsy. Ta-ta! (:

And so, my first week of school is finally coming to an end. It's been a really slack-ish week, i mean, three days of school per week? Is that awesome or is that awesome? I might be taking up any classes/courses/lessons or even jobs to fill my week and not waste it like this.

I don't wanna rot at home and slack anymore. It's too much.. yucks.

I realised most of the students in polytechnic, at least in my class, has forgotten what we've learnt before this new semester. For example, using the PRO.E software is such a headache now.. can't even recall the basics of basics. It's kinda pathetic so to say.. seriously.

Today jason, yongchye and i became jobless thanks to DBS.

Anyways, i really hope more people get to watch "1 Litre of Tears", i'm pretty sure no one would regret watching it. Spreading the goodness of the show, everyone will soon appreciate it. :)

I just finished the last episode of "1 Litre of Tears" finally. Thumbs up! It's a really touching and emotional show. And this show really makes you reflect about life. It makes you think a lot a lot.

How most people doesn't appreciate the most very simple things in life - walking, running, jumping, talking, your friends, family, everything. I too believe that god is unfair sometimes. Why do some bad people get perfectly good health while a person who's genuinely nice to others, receive this cruel and tortorous disease? What is the true purpose of life?

Addicted to this japanese drama, "1 Litre of Tears". It's a really touching show and it's based on a true story. Trust me, it's gotta be one of the best dramas out there.

Here's the sypnosis stolen from wiki:

This drama is based on the real-life struggles of a 15-year-old girl named Aya who suffered from an incurable disease, but lived life to the fullest until her death at 25. The script is based on the diary Aya kept writing until she could no longer hold a pen. The book that later followed entitled "One Litre of Tears" has sold over 1.1 million copies in Japan alone. Aya Kitō proved her courage and positive attitude towards an uncertain future when suffering such an illness, spinocerebellar ataxia. The drama spans a decade, during which she graduates from school while her conditions worsen.

The story begins as Aya prepares for the new semester. Despite being happy, she suffers from slight physical problems, which only her mother seems to notice. However, one day, she falls unconsciously on the floor.

After she is sent to the hospital, she is shortly diagnosed with the disease. Despite the fact that she is diagnosed with the terminal illness, she does not lose the will to survive.

She still makes friends with others, including her first love, Yuji. She later develops an interest in Haruto. Although somewhat cold, Haruto was still kind to her. Meanwhile, her health continues to deteriorate.

Knowing that she will not survive for long, she returns a gift to Haruto, who discovers the fact when he reads the love letter that Aya gave him.

In the last episode, she dies peacefully, and her parents mourn her.

Okay, finally setting some time aside for my hapless blog here. The trip was 5 days 4 nights long, and it's an awesome and tiring journey. I went with my family and my brother's girlfriend. Lots of shopping and eating(the mango desserts' at shui liu shan - delicious!) at hkg! And it's really physically draining, i totally ran out of energy EVERYDAY. More than 600 photos were taken, and i decided to choose a few to upload. Alrighty, here i go, *takes a deep breathe* (arghh!)

Day #1

Woke up 3am in the morning, and caught the 6am plane. It's been god-knows-when years since i've taken a plane, and the clouds are definitely a pretty sight! It's a four hours long ride and we reached our hotel around noon finally, YAY!

We visited Madame Tussauds' wax museum via the tram ride to the peak. It's really cool and lots of celebrities can be spotted there. The first easily spotted wax figure right at the entrance was none other than.... JAY CHOU! Doesn't really look like him though. Oops. Other wax-figures include andy lau, brad and angelina, aaron kwok, jacky chan, lee xiao long, ayumi, hitler, mao ze dong, lee kuan yew, yao ming(god i swear he's really tall), and many many many more!

Sky terrace was located way on top of the museum, and it's open air at the peak(where you can get a clear view of the cities in hkg). And it's super windy up there, but considering the great view of the city lights at night, it's worth catching the flu. Thumbs UP!

Day #2

DIS-NEY-LAND!

It's really flippin' BRILLIANT! Probably the best reason why anyone should visit hong kong! First of all, we took this cute disney train there, and coincidentally, there was a halloween theme festive at disneyland! Pumpkins, ghosts, creepy music - this is the first time i've experienced halloween's atmosphere, and it's happening and exciting!

The disneyland consists of main street(where lots of cartoon-y designed shops are built mainly for selling souvenirs) and 3 lands(Adventure Land, Tomorrow Land and Fantasy Land). There's just too many attractions there - Lion King performance, space mountain high-speed ride(with ghosts added since it's halloween festive!), the exciting jungle river cruise(there's monkey playing with gun, elephants spraying water, alligators, flames on water.. etc), the disney's own train ride to travel between the different lands, winnie the pooh ride adventure, stitch encounter(audience get to communicate with stitch, i find this stupid though), the orbitron(pilot flying saucer), buzz lightyear astro blasters(like a normal ride except you get to shoot many targets to score points, which is unbelievably fun) and electric car rides.

Oh-oh, i forgot to mention this really cool 3D 4D mickey's philharmagic show, where you get to wear this special glasses and everything turns 3D in the show! They even included not only your sense of sight and hearing, but touch and smell too! You'll see what i mean if you catch it, best 10 minutes-long show ever!

That's not all yet. There were two parades that we caught. One was in the day, and another halloween's glow in the dark parade at night. And soon after that parade, there's fireworks! Disneyland is a breathe-taking experience for everyone, a visit no one will ever regret! =)

And i did some shopping there too! It's worth it, you can't get the stuffs anywhere else! Disney is MAGIC!

Day #3

The third day we went "Da Yu Shan", and climbed the long long flights of stairs up to see the buddha close-up. It's really high up there and windy, and it provides a splendid view of the scenery - mountains, grasslands and sea.

We then did lots and lots of shopping at a mall, there's factory outlets for nike, adidas, quiksilver and many more! Most stuffs are cheaper there, considering there's no GST. I tried to find myself a pair of new shoes, but the price's about the same as singpore's, dammit!

This concludes day three, pretty slack-ish day.

Day #4

OCEAN PARK!

Once again, there's halloween festive here! Are we lucky or what? Ocean park's all about rides and rides and performances and performances and it's divided into two parts, uphill and lowland(there's a cable car ride for travelling up and down). I love the 360 degrees roller coaster(called the dragon)! It's super fun and unintentionally made escape theme park appear like it's for retards!

There's this underwater aquarium too, and there were a great deal of fishes and turtles and stingrays, each gigantically human-sized. I wonder if they were genetically altered or something, can fishes really grow that BIG?

Oh and there's this dolphins and seals' performance, they're DAMN DAMN SMART. How the hell did they train them to dash out of the water and spin in midair, save someone from drowning and countless kiddy actions? Neat.

Lastly, there's this panda place, everything's so PANDA-ish! Yikes!

Day #5

Day five.

Finally, it's the last day! Packing packing packing! And we did some last minute shopping spree! Totally cool. And i think 5 days' is MORE THAN ENOUGH to be spent in hkg. Maybe could be reduced to three, one for disney, one for ocean and another for that museum. =)

Hong Kong, a place that can be really fun if you don't mind LOTS of walking!

My next semester's timetable was just released. I've got NO SCHOOL on tuedays and wednesdays. Aye! This means it's a 3-working-day week! Is this awesome or brilliant? COOL!!!

mooncake festive!

Failed driving test! -REALLY!

My circuit "scored" two points and outside twenty two. This time a different tester took me and commented i was driving too slow and too cautiously. Like what the hell..?! Maybe i should just go bribe the testers man. Nuff' said, don't wanna talk about this anymore. UGH!

Yesterday was mooncake festival! Sher, jason and i had lunch at mensa! Wow, how stupid, i should avoid school at all costs. We met up with yongchye and pris after that, chicken rice(yummy) for dinner and.... MOON! LANTERNS! ~~MOONCAKE~~! Sadly there was no mooncake, otherwise everything would've been perfect. Oh wells.

Alrights, haven't been here for almost a week now. Blogging just ain't for people enjoying their holidays you see. Here's short updates anyways, appreciate it or die.

Driving & Tennis!
9 more days to my driving test(26th september). I don't feel nervous or excited at all, instead, i'm feeling sick that i've to continue my driving lessons. Hopefully i will be able to clear this time round and get this crappy shyt outta my life.

Tennis cancelled yesterday due to rain, postponed to this wednesday. Somehow i'm getting the feeling that my NAPFA is coming really soon..

..and i'm not exercising enough. Laziness' in my blood. Uh-oh.

Sleep!
I totally love sleeping. The weather's damn fine for dreamland. Rain, rain, rain more! Which genius invented sleeping anyway?

Hong Kong trip!
It's been confirmed, 11th to 15th october. I can't wait! It's been god-knows-what years since my family and i went overseas together! I wanna see disneyland at least ONCE in my life man. It's gonna be so damn flippin' exciting!

And, if anyone's planning to ask for souvenirs, don't. I'll buy if i see anything.. erm, neat.

"惡女阿楚" 's a taiwan drama, really funny and entertaining and addictive. It ain't draggy at all. Okay, genie's in that show too, i admit i started watching it because she's in it. BUT BUT BUT, it's really nice. It has only got 5 episodes on youtube so far, and i can't get enough of it. COME ON! Someone upload the 6th episode!

6 MORE MONTHS TO MY 20TH! Wow, i can't wait! Anyways, i got back to school again, final presentation this thursday, better do something impressive. And might be helping out in school the same day for some talk thingy, CCA POINTS!

Currently addicted to Genie Zhuo Wen Xuan's hyper cute and sweet voice. She's darn adorable, MELTS MY HEART! Okay, i'm crazy i know.. but who isn't? She give me diabetes. Gawd.

Sabrina's finally back from france, and she got me eyeballs - marshmallow eyeballs. My sister and i shared on each, it had this weird sour raw eyeball-ish taste. But i love the white chocolate though, choco-licious! YUMMY.

ridiculous

First of all....................

GOD I SIMPLY <3 HOLIDAYS.

I get to sleep ANYTIME i want.
I get to play ANYTIME i want.
I get to do ANYTHING i want.

And my internet's back online, very stably now. No more random internet disconnections anymore, and it feels damn great. And the speed is much faster compared to my old starhub's one, it loads youtube video FASTER than the speed that you watch it. =)

I might still need to head back to school a couple more times, sadly. I hate that forsaken place, someone please do something about it.

South Park, Puzzle Quest, DotA, Tennis, Mahjong, Sleep - summarises my life now. And i still need my job, can only work for a month or so though. Shyts.

By the way, today's weather is like CRAP. Had to bathe like three times, rain please, i need you.

Finally, finally.

It's been 19 weeks of:
waking up early,

YEAH 19 WEEKS OF HELL! But, it all ends now. I'M FREE! YES!

However, the mp/sip ends in silence. Cephas lost my mp3 player by accident. And it was like the very last hour of mp/sip.. God just doesn't want this to end that easily huh? So i'm currently at home, stuck with a computer with no music(i mean, even youtube needs sound right?), no access to my hard disk and no mp3 player. I guess it's just me and my "South Park" dvds now. =\

Well well well. I'm finally back!

My computer has been away on a vacation for the past weeks and i was forced to use a laptop(that i don't like) OR use the school computer(that i don't fancy either) temporarily. After weeks of troubleshooting, my computer has AWAKENED! -sorta.

I officially declare that i'm addicted to computers. There's basically N-O-T-H-I-N-G to do at home, besides television. And this half-dead computer comes with the kickass function of UNABLE TO PLAY SOUND and NO ACCESS to my previous files(harddisk), it's pretty much like.. playing basketball without arms.. sleeping with eyes wide open.. singing without opening mouth.. seeing-okay, you get the idea.

It simply sucks. Really. Oh wells, shyt happens huh?

Thanks for reading this meaningless post packed with full of shytty complains, tune in for more craps soon. Lastly i present to you Dancer vs Baby! It's a classic and guaranteed laugh.

Finally back here.

First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAYS TO ALL AUGUST BABIES! There's been just too much stuffs going on. Especially how i wasted my last weekend being sick in bed.. and missed yeeteng's birthday celebration at white dog's and st james'. Oh wells.

It's my brother's 24th birthday today! My sis and i actually stayed up last night, had birthday cake replaced by donuts from donut fac! Something interesting happened, here's a mathematics question:

2 big candles + 1 small candle = $0.30
2 big candles + 4 small candles = $0.50

What's the cost of each small/big candle?

The price above is how the auntie charged us(me and my sis) for the candles. We got home and figured it out(something to do with our pride) - each small candle costs $0.067 while big ones cost $0.1165 each!

WHAT THE HELL?! How did the conster candles-selling-auntie calculate that? Okay, enough of digress, back to main topic.

And so, my brother arrived home timely at 12am, from Thailand. Guess what he bought.. DUNKIN DONUTS! It's simply absurd.

Shyts, my cough is still here, finished my med but the clinic just refuses to sell any cough syrup after opening hours. Damn.

SECRET.

This has gotta be one of the most touching movies that have not appeared in years. And i'm not being biased, yeah, i may be a fan of jay but, this show is really that fantastic. It's definitely is a MUST-WATCH movie and for friends out there who haven't, go watch right away. DO NOT ASK WHAT THE SECRET IS. Please. You're making the movie half as nice as what it should turn out to be. And guess what, i MIGHT be catching it again, i love the songs, the piano playing, the storyline, the SECRET(twist).. everything. And, the main lead's name is "Ye Xiang Lun" man, AWESOME. 5/5

Alrights, besides "Secret", i caught 3 other movies.

Disturbia -
Suspense, thrilling movie. I'd give this a thumbs UP too. =) But the ending is really not unexpected. I really believed they can do better than that. Nopes, no twist in the story at all. 4/5

SUPER-SIZED Me -
Not really much of a movie, but a documentary, about this guy eating a full MCDONALD'S diet for 30 days, and nothing else at all. And health problems such as heart disease, kidney failures and addiction soon rises. Say NO to mcdonald's please. You have no idea what it's doing to your body, sweet addictive poison. This movie's showing ya. 3/5

Notebook -
Love story, and it's great! It's about this couple, rich girl, poor guy, got separated due to objections from her parents. Years later, she met this guy again, and yeah.. you gotta see how the story goes. =) 3.5/5

Currently i'm blogging via laptop, my computer's died a a few days back and.. it can't even enter windows now. What i really miss most are my music. I need my music, dammit.

It's august-peeps' turn. This means..

THREE MORE WEEKS TO END OF MP/SIP!! Finally, it's about damn time.

As for sherilyn's birthday, we went to Village's at heeren. I had sirloin steak, and though it didn't come with any side dishes(except for the veggies), it's pretty good. Oh, i finally got my harry potter LAST BOOK borrowed from khengwei and SOUVENIRS from pris and DONUTS from meihuey(and ben!). WHOOHOOO!~ Great stuffs.

Proceeded on to changi airport's swensen's.. ~~after crapping for eons standing at heeren~~. I didn't eat anything, sorta ran out of energy......

Oops. And i ALMOST lost my wallet. It was in pris' car, phew. I'm gonna be wallet-less for a couple of days.

Tennis practice in the morning. It was FREAKING HOT and BURNING! There's pros(suntan!) and cons(dehydrate fast, blisters) having practice under hot weather. I prefer a more cooling environment.. blisters are getting in the way of my practice. Hope to practice serving more..! Getting the hang of it!

Pretty random and sudden, visited Old Changi Hospital(after the yummy dinner at changi village) for ghost-hunting session. It was at night of course, and the place was very old and wrecked and creepy. Sadly(or fortunately?), we didn't find any "things" hanging around the area. But we do spot a group of youngsters visiting the place too, and somehow the video that sailam took didn't show them at all.

Don't tell me............................... =X

Proceeded on to old hendon road's camp bunker. This was even more eerie that OCH's, the road to the bunker itself was super dark, we turned back from this point. Might be coming back for visit when the coast is clear - meaning morning. Hah!

Everyone was laughing throughout the whole show, and that includes me. My jaw really hurts now, laughed too much, hah(ouch!)!

BIG yawns.

I've been sleeping like there's no tomorrow during the weekends. Gosh, sleeping gotta be the best thing God ever created. Look outside your window, it's freakin cold and windy/rainy, there's no reason not to hibernate right? And i managed to get my tennis practice before the rain came pouring this morning, phew.

Went clubbing at "Clinic" the other day, and it's insanely crowded. Didn't get to drink a lot though, and likewise, didn't have to pay a lot. I mean, my supper mcwings meal costed MORE.. yeah, and the cab fare, ouch.

Shyts, it's sunday night already, i spent my weekends on a vacation in dreamland. Currrently saving up for something precious. I just can't think anymore man, ta-ta!

Once again, i declare MP/SIP is completely boring. It's the kind of boredom that will really drive you nuts and make you sick.

Brought chinese chess to school today. Certainly killed my time at an exponential rate, YAY! I realised something. My playing kind of suck now(it doesnt matter if i win or lose, just SUCK). Can't seem to think as much(and as deep) as i did a few years back, when i was REALLY crazy over chess. And my impatience is still, ultimately, my greatest weakness.

I hate waiting you see. When i'm waiting, i get really bored and it's the kind of boredom that.........................

Rnaodm updates for the recent:

Caught "ALONE" thai-horror movie.
It's produced by the same bunch from my all-time favourite horror movie, "Shutter". The story is about one of the survivor of the siamese twins sisters being haunted by the spirit of the other. Somewhat the storyline isn't as terrific as shutter's, but the horror factor's still there. And the twist at the end wasn't bad at all. :)

Mahjong-ed, twice.
Overall, marginal win. It's still as tiring as ever(to be honest, i'm getting sick of it already), and let's hope there's less mahjong-ing and more monopoly next time.... oops.

Tennis cancelled.
Rained and throat of coach ain't well. Oh mans, that's so depressing.

"Hills Have Eyes" movie.
If you desire blood and gruesomeness in a show, this film is made for you. Freakin' gross and extremely bloody and sick and.. wait, i'm going to puke. The story's about this group of miners in a desert being exposed to radiation, and mutated into some ugly bloodthirsting creatures. They hunt and rape and kill anyone who gets near the hills. Okay, this show really spoils my appetite and i......... *pukes*

Clara's birthday celebration. (photos next week)
Clara's finally 19th. Chijmes - Hog's Breath. The sirloin was AWESOME. And the fillings were just right and the price was ~~average~~ expensive. I wouldn't mind visiting hog's again, seriously. Thumbs UP! Next stop was mama's, carribean bar at clarke quay. Drink drink drink(god i hate beer)! Alcohol of the day - definitely SEX ON THE BEACH. HAH. We rushed for the last train, and hilariously, running like mad although there's like eons-time left. Alrights, photos next week, due to photo-bearer eloping to hongkong today, MAN!

Early morning, it's a weekend, i've to wake up at 7am. Had tennis lesson though, anything for tennis right? It was really fun, we did something different. We were told to serve and aim at some balls over the other court, and the reward for striking them is free drinks. Nope, we got none. It's darn difficult. Oh, and i played a match with pris! A match between newbs.

Driving lesson after that, and it's not bad. I mounted kerb for the first time. And hopefully i won't do it again anytime soon.

Dinner was planned for meihuey's belated-birthday at "Aston's Specialities" opposite katong mall at east coast road. I would say it's a budget-restaurant. I had like sirloin steak and chicken wing and nuggets and iced choc and costed me twelve bucks.. ONLY! Wow, thumbs up for the price. It's definitely good for what it's worth. (:

Cabbed home with sherilyn, i had driving the next day at 7.30am so couldnt make it for obar. Ugh.

Droved in the morning. Pretty smooth, nothing serious went wrong. It's just about the "thing" coming in three days' time. *cross fingers*

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Compared to the book, which sucks in my opinion, this version is super-summarised. And it certainly did not entertain me as much as the previous "harry potters" movies. Its plot was pretty shallow too, so for non-harry potter fans, at last, you get to save your $9.50 this weekend!

CHIJMES.

The dress code(given by the newly-19th) was BLACK BOTTOMS. And the only logical way i could come up with is wearing formal. Alrights, and so sabby and prissy were the drivers for the day. Those present were thoughtful enough to obey the dress code. We had dinner at gatsby, chijmes. The serving was insanely huge and it comes with an equally-proportionate price.

Cheesecake-ed cafe once again, for jason's sake. It's nothing much, really. Went to changi and saw some disturbing sexually-confused freaks out there. They should be on fear factor or something seriously.

Celebrated pris' birthday once again. Clara and muhua this time. We had lunch at arab's street(to be frank, it was better than gatsby, save the ambience factor), fetched jason, and went to catch "DIE HARD 4.0" at lido's shaw. It's a show packed with ACTIONS and even more ACTIONS. It's about this hero(who nothing can stand in his way, pretty much) saving the whole nation, along with his kidnapped daughter. COOL SHOW.

Dinner was at east coast lagoon, with a little trouble with the parking due to the impatient drivers out there. Give TRIANGLES a chance will ya?

The dinner was random and tasty! Once again went to east coast's carpark to catch some adultery.. sorta. Finally HOME! (:

With around 6 hours of sleep, i dragged and forced myself to tennis lesson in the morning. We get to learn even more serving this time, and i actually played a match with yuhan.

Okay, it wasn't really a match, i was totally thrashed by him to the most pathetic state ever imaginable. He even used his right hand(he's left-handed). "ACES" were enough to finish me off. Yeah, there's a rough guide of how the match went.

KBOX-ed yesterday.

Ouch, it's 7% GST now. It was a last minute decision and it caused all of us to be completely bankrupt last night. The temperature of the room is still as cold as ever i see. Can't they do something about it? I mean, who's in the right mood to sing when you're half-freezed to death? What service, argh! Lucky it's packed with jay's songs or it's soo gonna be closed down.

My dad fetched us back! YAY! =D

TRANSFORMERS today.

WHOOO! Thumbs up! The movie is completely filled with robotic battle scenes. Although i know nuts about transformers, i think everyone will love this movie. Totally worth my two hours, just go catch the movie for goodness' sake. If it sucked, look for me to negotiate a refund.

BUT, i actually forgot to renew my pdl and today's circuit has been cancelled. And i've to pay for it! This is really frustrating. And yesterday i already risk driving without a valid pdl, heh!

No more tennis in school, there's some tournament or something.

Stuffs to be happy about-

1. Wednesday's grave mistake has been redeemed. YAY! =D
I lost "Prince of Tennis" discs, which was just borrowed from my friend. And i only realised the discs were missing after 5 hours! My forgetfulness! Luckily, it's been brought to "LOST AND FOUND". Thank thank goodness!

2. Tennis. -of course!
But darn the rain! It rained after one hour of playing, dammit! I'm really enjoying tennis man. It's like the next best sport, comparable to basketball!

3. Rain. -love it since god-knows-when.
And this cooling weather.. and this refreshing atmostphere.. IT'S FREAKIN' GOOD FOR SLEEPING! And most importantly, the air isn't dry and gross, heh!

4. JAY CHOU'S "不能说的秘密". FINALLY!
Jay's the director, jay's the main lead, jay's the singer for the movie theme. I just heard this song, and i'm really desperate for the FULL VERSION of it, hope to hunt it down soon. And it's just impossible to wait for the movie to be released! ARGH!~

I'm feeling really tired - even during weekends now. Commitments like driving and tennis is suffocating me. There's only one solution:

It was a completely horrible day yesterday - when God's against me.

100% at work

THIS IS A FLIPPIN' LONG RANDOM POST.

Continue from previous post, my final decision made was.. BOTH! I did make it for both(celebration and tennis) so it's something to be proud of. King Satay-ed and McDonald's-ed and The Cheese Cake Cafe-ed. The satay place was nice and considerably affordable. And at the cheesecake cafe, jason got pretty high. The rum and raisin cheesecake's tasty! Will be having driving the next day so didn't stay out too late -HOME.

DISCLAIMER
this following paragragh was made in order to earn me an extra ride next time, any resemblance of any characters are purely coincidental and fictional.
Pris was driving us that day, and her driving is AWESOME! It's FANTASTIC! It's SUGOI!~~ It was so steady and quick and ~~the headlights wasn't on after 7pm~~. HEH. Fortunately a kind-hearted aunty was there to alert us. Otherwise that would probably take some points off our newly-licensed driver.

Back to topic - random-ness.

RANDOM #1:
23 more days.

I'm starting to feel the pressure, six last driving lessons left. HOPEFULLY. Three more circuits and three more outside-driving. Please god, lemme pass! I can't WAIT!

RANDOM #2:
My friendster account got "hacked" last week. It wasn't really hacked, i forgot to log out my account in school, and some idiot went to delete my profile. I managed to get it back though, since that idiot can't change my password. =)

RANDOM #3:
HEAVENLY NEWS. I gained 3 kg this month! I just beat the 55-kg mark! I'm no longer 55, i'm 58! =D YES! No more underweight..!

RANDOM #4:
Tennis lesson yesterday, simply fun. As we bring forward our tennis lessons to earlier timings, we receive less suntanning sessions. And we get to learn a bit of volley and service near the end of the lesson, exercise in the morning is just GREAT.

Tennis-ed. And it HAD TO freakin' rain just when i finally get to enjoy it to the MAX. Yongchye's and SongLim's first time virgin tennis, and god ruined it with rain. With the ground and balls wet, it ain't fun at all. Darn it.

Tennis-ed. It almost almost rained, but luckily(or not) it was just a light drizzling. However, when i was playing doubles with andrew, mokeong and cephas, ANDREW GOT INJURED! His left eyelid got hit by the racket and there was quite a bit of bleeding. We took him to the clinic, though it required no stitches, but most prolly there will be a scar left there. MC-ed for the next two days. Darn it.

OH, HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY TO ZHENGXI! Another member of the wang-clan. Those 18 years wangs better grow up faster eh! We gave zhengxi's a surprise under her block, around 12am on thursday. And with four cars, we celebrated at the multi-storey carpark! The birthday-gal was so happy to the extent that she vomitted, and unintentionally invited all the policemen. Oh wells.. heh.

Thursday, we celebrated again - by watching "Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer". It ain't that fantastic. Most action scenes are already loaded into the trailers and it has got a pretty bad ending to me. Talk about self destruction. I must admit.. Its cartoon is MUCH nicer!

Played and lost mahjong yesterday, darn it. Lost touch already. Wells, at least i get to feast on pungol's nasi lemak after that! Today's FATHER'S DAY! It's quite amazing how i celebrate father's day this year - by taking a long afternoon nap! My daddy's out with mummy, my bro's out with his girlfriend, my sis's out with her boyfriend. And that leaves me and my prince of tennis at home! =\

Finally got back my sleep, thank god. I'm not doing this again. I swear.

Here again.. where do i begin?

MP/SIP is killing me.. UNTIL, andrew and marcus' nintendo DS-es' entertainment. Ain't i supposed to be working on the project? Oh craps. Okay, thanks to khengwei who just passed me his so-called "flash bible" today. Hopefully it's gonna help a flash-newb like me. Heh!

Caught "Ocean's Thirteen" last night. Though i didn't get to catch 11th and 12th(i mean the previous two movies), i think i get the rough idea of what it's about. TRICKERY. Shows how this team of people made a new-built casino to actually lose money, for revenge's sake. It's a really cool movie, but somehow somehow somehow, it doesn't meet my expectations. Maybe the two-hour duration's a little too draggy for me.

Droved again and tennis tomorrow! And cheers to ba-zhangs and nasi lemaks! YAY!! =D

I can't believe i didn't catch it in the theatres. This movie's somewhat revolving around the song "Way Back Into Love", so if you love this song like i do, you WILL love this movie. And the many other soundtracks in it are really "ear-candies". Heh! Though it's damn 80s'. =\

It's a hot sunny june sunday today. *sweats*

"Shrek the Third" - AWESOME MOVIE! It's totally hilarious and "Puss In Boots" and "Dronkeys" simply rawks! And the part that the frog king died.. And the part where pinocchio tries NOT to tell a lie.. And the part that arthie gave his cocky speech.. And the part the magic-guy merlin performed his pathetic magic.. I LOVE THEM ALL. Okay, enough of spoilers. Just go watch and have limitless laughters throughout the show.

Just droved. Parallel parking, is it easy or what? I can't wait for my 18th july! And by the way, i spend 200 bucks during the IT fair on a new sony mp3(4gb usb)! It's damn adorable and small and light and easy to use! But the software that they provided sucks big time. Darn troublesome and tedious job.

I've got so many things to do, so little time. Gotta make songlim a new blogskin. Gotta watch my animes. Gotta play my tennis. Gotta drive. Gotta play my "Shining Force 2" on PSP. Dear Michael,

Every year I attempt to boost my students' final grades by giving them this relatively simple exam consisting of 100 True/False questions from only 3 chapters of material. For the past 20 years that I have taught Intro Communications 101 at this institution I have never once seen someone score below a 65 on this exam. Consequently, your score of a zero is the first in history and ultimately brought the entire class average down a whole 8 points.

There were two possible answer choices: A (True) and B (False). You chose C for all 100 questions in an obvious attempt to get lucky with a least a quarter of the answers. It's as if you didn't look at a single question. Unfortunately, this brings your final grade in this class to failing. See you next year!

Haven't had any good sleep since last wednesday, this further darkens the persistent circles around my eyes. Here's why:

Celebrated sabb's birthday. Birthday cake at the airport, and laser-pointer-joke was invented. Dinner's at this new place called hooters. Ripped 30 bucks outta each of us, and although the food there is nice, it's not worth 20 dollars service charge. What can i say? What's conned cannot be un-conned. Heh!

We camped outside obar(while waiting for hongguan) for aeons after that. I just hate to wait there while having free second-hand smoke(aka slow death). And the gross puking part ain't something i fancy too. Geylang's grass jelly after that, and..

HOME AT LAST!

Tennis in the morning. It was a blazing-glaring-burning-blaring-hot-sunny morning. Luckily something in consolation - the coach said both pris and i improved. Somehow i suspect this was judged upon the fact that there were less tennis balls casualties(compared to last week). =)

Napped, napped, napped.

Cafe-cartel with jason and sherilyn during evening. The service was slow and crappy. The ham and egg sandwiches were awesome though, and cheap! Jason introduced us this place "Max Brenner's" at the esplanade. And pris and jaryl joined us. It turned out that, the recommended brownies were SOLD OUT. We then had lots of lameness after that, mostly racist laser-pointy jokes. =/

Cabbed home! The taxi driver was damn funny.. i meant the way he laughs. What a crazy horrifying laughter he possess, should be handed over to discovery channel on tv.

Droved. I hadn't had my parallel parking yet, sadly. And turns out the key to success in circuit is - SLOW.SPEED. I'll keep that in mind. Gawd, july 18th seems so far away. Pris was driving too, met her for burger king and found out my bank was robbed. And then the money was back in cash, phew.

Finally, thursday is here. This means, LAST DAY OF BISHAN. Yeah, i missed temasek poly man. Train rides sucks totally. It's almost the end of 5th week of MP/SIP, and our project is kinda overdued. Things ain't looking good. =(

Caught Pirates 3! It's nearly 3 hours long, damn. Somehow i couldn't get myself to concentrate fully on a three-hour-long movie, ever since LOTR. Anyways, pirates 3 is a really great show. The battle scenes with brilliant CG, it's as if you're playing a game man. Heh! And the show is hilarious too, mostly thanks to Captain Jack. Well-spent movie ticket, i wonder why the straits times gave it a two-stars.

I hate dark circles. My sleep is soooo sacrificed these few days, off to bed now.

My first tee-ee-an-ann-ai-as lesson.

Evening, east meadows condo, tanah merah. I'm learning it through pris' twin, yuhan(?). We learnt how to grip a racket, forehand and backhand. I simply suck at forehand man! Either the direction was incorrect, or the strength was too big, or both. And the poor coach had just lost like a million tennis balls - flying off the tennis court's rooftop. All thanks to pris and me, yeah! HAH! Okay, we just need more practice. =/ Prata plus cab after that, and we saved half of the tennis money! AWESOME!

Remember my parents and my bro fell sick some time ago? And then followed by me? Today was my sister's turn! Family-combo. She caught gastric flu, or something like that. Luckily i'm okay already, phew.

Monday, going bishan again, noooooooo. We will be visiting the Tai Seng's station, part of the new circle line. Hopefully our dismissal's at tai seng, then i'll be home like darn fast. And i'll be having my first circuit driving tomorrow morning! =))

Medical leave.

Recently, it's been tiring and frustrating to travel from pasir ris to bishan. The train is always packed too. I even had to take a cab there on tuesday(almost late, plus there's a jam), and that took two red notes from my wallet.

My project group(and one other group) were assigned to Bishan's SMRT depot. Our workplace is in a container, and although you have all the freedom you want, there's NOTHING-TO-DO. There's no internet or computers! The boredom is really killing me...

Thankfully, i get to rest at home today. My throat's not in a very pleasant condition you see, and i strongly believe my brother passed it to me. Yikes! No cold drinks, no oranges, no grapes, no fried food. Gawd.

Right now, the cough syrup's forcing me to close my damn eyes. Yawns! Oh i almost forgot, happy birthday to my dad! =D

The next week - a week without Temasek Poly.

My project group are to report to Bishan's control station. From pasir ris to bishan's journey, this is crapp! Estimated i've to be in bed by 10pm everyday. Apparently i gotta replenish my sleeping hours on the train instead of the bus now. And i doubt i'll get to go online like how i'm usually able to, oh wells. =/

Voom-voom! Finally trial-ed out one of the test routes. And next week entering circuit! Sweet! Oh, next weekend - TENNIS! I just heard from pris the first lesson's all about knowing how to grip the racket, gawd. That how stuff works eh, get the basics right.

I listened to S.H.E's new album(credits to sher!) a while ago. Track 5 simply rocks, go see the lyrics and figure out why. And... Three out of five people in my family fell sick. There's something wrong with May man. It just ain't cool.

I can't believe what just happened. Read on.

While jogging with my brother in the evening......YES! That's what happened! I actually jogged! The three walk-and-sleep years has definitely robbed my stamina. Six rounds around the park and i can hardly catch my breath. Gonna jog more frequently in the future, the stamina-less feeling in me sucks. Anything for tennis right? Heh! Yeah right. =/

My dismissal time everyday is 5.30pm. Yesterday i reached home at 7pm. Flippin' Pissed(with a capital P) off by bus 8. Didn't appear for half an hour and two fully packed ones came. They can kindly just *beep* off mans. I learnt my lesson - took bus 518 today and reached home at 6pm. Smiles.

And what's up with the burning hellish weather these days(and nights). God, don't push your luck.

First of the few coming craps, a really good piece of news - I AM [PROBABLY] TAKING UP TENNIS! Prolly two weeks later. This is the aftermath of watching "Prince of Tennis" man. Speaking of which, i watched over 40 episodes in a week. Addicted!

Linkin Park's discography. I gotta say, SUPERB. A whooping 184 tracks! Included all sorts of different versions(demo, unreleased, studio, live.. etc) in it. And i simply can't wait for the coming new album - "Minutes to Midnight"! It's undoubtedly gonna be cool!

Nearly half of 2007 is over now, wow. Alrights, i found out that there are 2 public holidays in may. Which means that from June all the way to national day, there'll be no holidays or breaks for me. ARGH.

What's coming up? Mother's Day, my dad's birthday, Father's Day(my family's celebrating in May somehow), spiderman 3's day and pirates 3's day. Busy. MP/SIP's getting better, fortunately. Gaming, gaming, gaming. I wonder what i'm gonna record in my logbook.

Caught spidy 3. MARVELOUS! It's totally worth my two hours and twenty minutes! Absolutely action-packed. Especially the fight against two villians(that sand-guy and venom) together. It's disappointing to see venom appearing like that though. He should be WAY stronger and bigger-sized. Oh wells. At least that gay spiderman dance entertained us for a while. Hah!

I wanna learn tennis. I'm serious. =/

One out of nineteen weeks, DOWN.

Okay, here's the routine for my MP/SIP. I have to be in the lab to clock-in between 8.30am to 9am. Anytime after that, LATE. And that requires you to write an explanation, suckfest.

Sit in front of my computer. Do ANYTHING that i feel beneficial our project. Learning flash is a good example. There're also other softwares to learn like 3D Studio MAX and EON - which ain't really my cup of tea. Hah!

Teabreak's at 10am~10.15am and 3pm~3.15pm. Lunch break's at 12pm to 1pm. Basically, you can go for break anytime you want, as long as the supervisors ain't there. And this ends me up eating like a pig. Definitely grew fatter during MPSIP. It's a great thing though. =)

Clock-out time's at 5.30pm to 5.45pm. Anytime after than that.. Hmmmm. Something will happen, i just can't recall. And FYI, it isn't good.

This boring daily routine forced us installed LAN games on our computers. It helps to fast time forward. It bonds the teamwork of the group you know, that's what games are for. Okay, i'm crapping, we just wanna slack. The real excitement isn't the game itself, but the panic of fear - anyone who opens the lab door, we would turn our heads to see who that was. When supervisors catch you playing games instead of working on your project, it won't be as fun anymore.

This post concludes the next 19 weeks of my school life. I'm out.

I'm back once again. MP/SIP.

I've just spent ~~one week~~ JUST TWO DAYS of school. But it felt like aeons. Really, seriously. I'm exhausted and i really miss my sleep. Eight and a half hours everyday? Gawd.

Here's one thing(out of the unimaginable long list) i hate about the dismissal at 5.30pm everyday - THE BUS RIDES. Crowded crowded crowded. I definitely don't fancy squeezing in a bus with a million reeky stinkos. Yes, i'm a living thing and i need to breathe.

Okay, its counterpart: own computer and freedom. Started learning flash again. I couldn't recall what i learnt from the teachers during secondary school. And now i gotta self-learn flash from tutorials on the web, which kinda sucks when you get stuck. Now now now, flash-pros anyone?

So much for two days. Sigh. =/

It's a beautiful day for..

Movie-spree! For the past few days, i watched 200 pounds beauty, hoodwinked, the departed, diary, the covenant, tokyo zombie, the guardian, eragon, house of mahjong and death note. And all for free. Sweeeet.

Amongst all these shows, Hoodwinked was the best man. Extremely entertaining. The plot revolves around an investigation with four suspects - Red(red riding hood), Wolf, Granny and Woodsman. And everyone would give their own versions of what happened(which somehow are complected together). You just gotta watch this man, impressive storyplot. And there's a sequel to this coming 2008! Strongly recommended! Thumbs UP!^

Today is officially the last day of holiday. And it makes me sad. ):

Hmmmmmm.

My poor holidays.. The in-house trainings(for MP-SIP) ate up four days of it. Ouch. Basically we learnt how to use 3DMAX and EON softwares. They're tools for making 3D animations. As time passes, everyone starts to lose their concentration. And ended up.. anyhow-use the softwares without following instructions. =/

I've just experienced the long hours of how the upcoming MP-SIP will be like, and it sucks totally. I mean it. Gotta clock-in everyday at 9am and clock-out at 5.30pm. This awful idea just make me feel like puking. And we had only like 3 days of holiday throughout the whole 19 weeks! YEAH, NINETEEEEN! Oh, not forgetting to mention, we'll be not getting a single cent of pay. Just pass the penknife to my wrist man.

I.. hate.. school. Saddening..!

Today is Friday. The training finally ended and no Temasek Poly for the weekend! YAY! It means i get to sleep late and wake up late. Gotta treasure my sleep! =)

I've always known i had this phobia. Hate it hate it hate it! I meant school. Two days left, depressing. There're so many things i wanna do.. and there's just no time!

It is a thursday today. Four days left. God, i really hate school. Dread it, dislike it, detest it. Oh, come on.

Caught The Reaping with yongchye and jade last night. Another biblical, god-devil, christianity-related horror show. I don't quite get what the plot was trying to say. Alrights, at least the "will-try-and-scare-the-hell-outta-you-anyway" factor is in the movie. I'm not complaining. In fact i'm disgusted with horror films trying to have a storyline when they don't. If you're looking for lots and lots of bugs in a movie show, this one has plenty.

Faked identity. Helped sabrina get her hard-earned five bucks by going to this "True Fitness" club at raffles place pretending i'm someone else. I finally got my height verified - 175! =D Fitness score 70!

Delifrance-d. Costs 70 bucks for the five of us. Ouch.

Mahjong-ed at my place, with yongchye, zhengxi, yeeteng and sabby. Won 12. We then went to newton circus for dinner. Super over-ordered. Nine dishes, five people. Completely insane. Luckily we managed to finish most of the food.

Basically spent more than 150 dollars on just the lunch and dinner. Mahjong-ed again overnight til 4am, won another 20. Oops.

Woke up at 10am while having a complete lack of sleep. Queued up at the bank for like eons with pris. Freakin' crowded. We then finally managed to get her driving bookings done at ubi.

NYNY-ed for lunch. Jason came to join us. We went shopping around marina square, suntec and raffles for like hours and hours. I bought a new wallet from Braun Buffel! Talk about self-indulgence. Never mind, most of the money came from mahjong winnings anyway(a real nice way to overlook my spending spree). But SADLY, sabby's brother already possess the same thing. Goodness sake. #)!*$@*)#&!$

Then we went anderson's for fondue. Delicious..! Gathered with sabby, yongchye and zhengxi.

Night Safari-ed FINALLY! It's our first time there for most of us. The animals were not as camouflaged as i expected. Mousedeers, fishing cat(looking for its fishing rod the whole time), leopards, otters(hyperactive cute creatures), tigers(FYI, they don't roar, they "LAOHU" instead), pigs, hyenas, bongos, zebras, giraffes, owls, bats(annoying, scare me), flying squirrels.. that's all i can recall right now. Oh, the food and drinks were like not-cheap. And finally, the night animals show was fantastic! And we didn't get to see it! HA!

Jalan kayu-ed for dinner. Or rather, supper. I didn't realise it's already past midnight. Pratas pratas pratas. Yummy! Another free ride home, ah sweeet.

Hungry and bored.

Seeing no one in my house could cook anything for me at late hour, i decided to cook myself. For the very first time! The only thing i know is frying eggs and making cup noodles. Alrights, this proved no challenge at all.
